9:30 – Meet your guide at the hotel lobby. Possible: arrive by ferry, disembark, go through the passport control, meet your guide at the port.
City sightseeing tour by car. During this tour you will see the most famous St. Petersburg venues, such as the Bronze Horseman, Admiralty, Rostral Columns, Fine Arts Square, Nevskt prospect and many more.
Peter and Paul Fortress tour with an inside visit to Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral. Peter and Paul Fortress is symbolic for St. Petersburg as it is the foundation place of our city. You will tour the old fort and have a visit to the burial vault of the Romanov-tsars – the Cathedral.
Resurrection Cathedral (aka Church on the Blood) is the world’s largest museum of mosaics. Fascinating both inside and outside.
Lunch in a local place will be an introduction to the traditional RUssian cuisine. Hot borscht is good for cold winter days!
The State Hermitage museum tour. A great introduction to the world’s greatest art collection. You will also get to see the Winter Palace – the offical residence of the Russian tsars for the cold season.
Around 18:00-18:30 – finish at your hotel or any venue of your choice downtown.
9:30 – Meet your guide at the hotel lobby, continue the tours. Today your are going outside the city to Pushkin (former Tsarskoye Selo).
Catherine Palace tour followed by a stroll in the parks. Catherine Palace is home to the famous Amber room, a unique interiour decorated in Amber, a precise replica of the original 18th century Amber room stolen from the Catherine Palace by the Nazis during WWII.
Lunch in a local place – minimum 3 changes plus drinks included.
Yussoupov Palace is one of intriguing visit. You will see the reception and living rooms of the top wealthiest family of Russia before the revolution and learn the mystery of Rasputin’s murder.
St. Isaac’s Cathedral. The icon of St. Petersburg skyline, the world’s 4th largest cupola structure and the principal cathedral of Russia before the revolution, this amazing church can take up to 12 tousand people standing. More beautifu inside than outside, the cathedral will share the secrets of its construction.
Around 18:00 – finish at your hotel. If this is your departure day, we’ll adjust the itinerary so that we finish either at the port or airport.
