St Petersburg Sightseeing Small Group Tour is 395 USD per person.

Day 1 – 08.30 – 09.30

Disembark, go through the passport control, meet your guide. As soon as the group gets together, you’ll start for your St Petersburg Sightseeing tour. Please be early in order not to hold back the group.

09.30 – 10.30

the first hour is devoted to the actual driving city tour. You will get a good overview of St. Petersburg city centre and see such famous sights as the Spit of Vasilievsky Island with the Rostral columns, the Bronze Horseman, the Admiralty, Peter the Great’s Kunstkammer, St. Nicholas Cathedral, and — upon your wish — the Grand Choral Synagogue.

10.30 – 11.30

Your first inside visit today is the cradle of our city — Peter and Paul Fortress. No St Petersburg sightseeing tour is ever complete without this visit. The tour of the fortress includes Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral (inside), the burial vault of the Romanov-tsars starting from Peter the Great. The last Russian tsars — Nicholas II, Alexandra and their kids were also re-buried here in 1998.

12:00 – 12.30

An inside visit to the 4th largest church of the world — St. Isaac’s Cathedral.

12.45 – 13.15

Another inside visit, no less picturesque then the previous ones: Church on the Blood (official name: Resurrection Cathedral) is the world’s largest museum of mosaics. Stunning onion dome church is even more beautiful inside.

13.30 – 14.30

Russian traditional lunch in a local restaurant. Part of St Petersburg sightseeing is local culinary traditions – sample taste authentic Russian food.

14.45 – 17.00

last but not least: a tour of the Hermitage museum. This must-visit world-famous museum possesses over 3,5 million exhibits. You will see the Winter Palace of the Russian tsars with its grand reception and throne halls, the Small Hermitage, the Old and New Hermitages that hold the West-European fine arts collections. You will see famous masterpieces by Leonardo, Rafael, Rembrandt, Rubens and many others. NOTE: Collections of Impressionists and Postimpressionists are located in a separate building now. General Staff building can be visited, if time permits, for additional fee.

You have some leisure time for walking and/or shopping after the busy day. By 18.00 — return on board the ship.

Day 2 – 09.00

Meeting at the port, continue the tours. Today you’ll drive outside the city to Pushkn (formerly known as «Tsarskoye Selo») located 24 km outside St. Petersburg.

10.00 – 12.00

Tour of the Catherine Palace and Park ensemble. Spectacular in itself, Catherine Palace boasts of the unique Amber room. Our tour includes an inside visit to the Palace (of course, the Amber room, Rastrelly Golden Gallery and some other gorgeous gilded halls and rooms). The Catherine Palace is a real highlight of St Petersburg Sightseeing tour.

Return to St. Petersburg city centre, Russian traditional lunch arranged for you in one of the local places.

14.30 – 16.00

Tour of the Yusupov Palace. The palace shows a regular way of life of a noble family back in the 19th century. A life surrounded with exquisite beauty every day, every minute. The history of the palace is closely connected with the death of Rasputin — the dark force at the crown of the Russian empire, the most mysterious person in the Russian history, spent the last few hours of his life and met his death here.

16.30 – 17.30

Your impression of St. Petersburg won’t be complete without a river and canal tour. Our city was built in such a way that from water it looks even more beautiful and mysterious. We invite you to take one of the small boat tours provided by our company. A small boat will be able to go under the most narrow bridges and through the small canals of the downtown area. This relaxing boat ride will be a good finishing of your second busy day of St Petersburg Sightseeing.

Return on board the ship.

Day 3 – 09.00

Meeting at the port, continue the tours. Today you will visit Peterhof, considred by many to be the «Crown Jewel». Peterhof is located 29 km outside St. Petersburg. You will pass some interesting areas on the way and see Narva Triumphal Gates and the Constantine Palace (better known as the «Palace of Congresses» or the Russian President’s Palace.

10.30 – 11.00

Tour the Upper Fountain gardens of Peterhof.

11.00 – 12.00

Tour the Grand Peterhof Palace. There are over 20 palaces and pavilions on the grounds of Peterhof, which now are open as museums to public. You will visit the most famous of them all — the Grand Palace. Major receptions of this most famous country-side residence of the Romanov-tsars were conducted here.

12.00 – 14.00

Tour the Lower Fountain Parks of Peterhof. Peterhof boasts of 150 fountains and 4 larger cascades. You will get a good overview tour, that includes trick fountains (reflecting Peter the Great’s sence of humour).

15.00 – 15.40

After time for lunch/snack/coffee-break on the grounds of the gardens, a modern hydrofoil boat will take you back to St. Petersburg downtown.

A short farewell drive through St. Petersburg and by 16:30 you will return on board the ship.

Return on board the ship. Your 3 day St Petersburg Sightseeing experience is over.
