Our 1-day Faberge tour is a visa-free shore excursion offering an introduction to St. Petersburg history and culture alongside with a very special interest topic: Carl Faberge and his talent, Faberge jewelry in general and Faberge Imperial eggs in particular.

08.30 – 09.00  Pick up from the cruise ship.
The meeting point is inside the cruise ship terminal in the arrivals area, after the passport control stalls. Your guide will be waiting for you with a sign with our company logo.
09.00 - 11.00   Driving city tour.
City sightseeing tour including conventional historic landmarks and places connected with the Faberge family. Faberge tour includes a stop by a jewelry store that is located now in the same building where once used to be the main workshop of the House of Faberge and Carl Faberge’s apartment. Did famous Faberge eggs originate here?
11.00 – 13.00  Hermitage Museum.
The Hermitage overview tour includes the Winter Palace rooms (where once Faberge eggs were presented, kept and exhibited in front of the diplomats and nobility), Small, Old and New Hermitage buildings with famous collections of Fine Arts.
OPTIONAL: Hermitage Special Treasury tour.
13:10-13:25   Palace Square walk.
The Heart of St. Petersburg is the Famous Palace Square. Walk across it, feel the space and take pictures of such famous landmarks as the Alexander Column, Winter Palace, General Staff building, Admiralty and St. Isaac's Cathedral.
13:30 - 14:15   Time for lunch/snack/coffee-break.
A snack in a local place of your choice near the Palace Square. There are plenty of Russian traditional places that serve Russian traditional food like blinis (Russian pancakes) or pies. Good food and fast service.
14.30 – 15.30   General Staff building of the Hermitage.
General Staff building with the Carl Faberge Memorial exhibition. Besides Impressionists and Postimpressionists collections, we will head to see such outstanding works by Faberge as a scale replica of the Royal Regalia.
16.00 – 17.15   Faberge Museum
Main attraction of Faberge tour is certainly Faberge Museum. The heart of the exhibition being 12 Faberge eggs, nine of them are Faberge Imperial eggs – unique jewelry masterpieces created on the commission of the Romanov tsars.
18.00 – 18.30   Return to the port, evening free.
