Faberge Museum

Faberge museum is a unique private jewelry collection located in a historic palace that used to belong to one of St. Petersburg’s top noble families.
The Link of Times foundation managed to gather a fascinating selection of  jewelry art masterpieces numbering over 4000  items and dating mostly to the 19th – beginning of the 20th centuries. The core of the collection are works by the renowned jeweler and Royal court supplier Carl Fabergé. The finest and most famous pieces in the collection are 14 Fabergé eggs, 9 of which are Imperial Easter eggs (they were created on the personal commission of the two last Romanov tsars – Alexander III and Nicholas II). Thus Faberge museum in St. Petersburg possesses the world’s largest collection of Fabergé eggs. Although by the number of Imperial eggs the collection is second largest to that of the Moscow Kremlin, the museum boasts of the most significant eggs, e.g. the first and the last ones ever created as well as Fabergé eggs created on special occasions and anniversaries.
